These terms cover Bloombilt Local, a service from Bloombilt LLC, a Minnesota limited liability company. By sending a request through Bloombilt Local you agree to them. Questions go to support@bloombilt.com.
What Bloombilt Local does
You tell us what you need done. We offer the request to one local business in the Minneapolis–St. Paul area that offers that service where you are. That business can accept or decline. If it accepts, it contacts you directly. We do not do the work ourselves.
What it costs
Nothing, for you. A business pays Bloombilt a fee when it accepts a request. We tell you this so you know how we are paid.
The business is independent
Before a business can receive requests, we check who it is, that we can reach it, and any license its kind of work requires. The business, not Bloombilt, decides whether to take the job, what to charge and how to do the work. Any agreement for the work is between you and the business. We do not guarantee that a business accepts, how much it charges, or the quality of its work.
Not for emergencies
Bloombilt Local is not an emergency service. For fire, a gas smell, flooding, an electrical hazard or any danger to a person, call 911 or your utility first.
What we ask of you
- Give true details, and contact details that are yours or that you may share.
- Send real requests only. No spam, no testing other people's numbers, nothing unlawful.
- Keep your Bloombilt account secure, and tell us if someone else uses it.
We may refuse a request, or close an account, that breaks these rules.
Your information
Our Privacy Policy says what we collect and who sees it. In short: your contact details go to one business, the one that accepts, and nobody else.
Limits on our responsibility
We provide Bloombilt Local as it is. We are not responsible for the work a business does or does not do, or for what you and a business agree. Nothing in these terms limits a right you have under law that cannot be limited.
Changes and law
If we change these terms, we update the date at the top; using Bloombilt Local after that means you accept the change. Minnesota law governs these terms.
